Hi and welcome to my blog.

I have set this up for two reasons, firstly I will use it as a kind of diary of my teaching career from the very start so I can record any good/bad teaching practices I have observed or used and can regularly refer back to.

Secondly it can be used by others as a place to get ideas and information to use in your own practice.

A bit about me. I am currently 3 months into a PGCE in post compulsory education in Essex. I have taught in a college for 3 years previously and am now in a placement at a leading sixth form college. I am passionate about active learning and the use of technologies in the classroom.

Classroom 2.0 - discussion on the use of ipads as a teaching tool.

Classroom 2.0 is a social website designed for teachers and everyone involved in teaching to discuss and share teaching practices and ideas.
